for JCPS School Board

Dear Neighbor,

Welcome to my website. I'm running for JCPS school board District 6 because I want to ensure that the legacy of progressive leadership and accomplishment made by current board member Lisa Willner continues.

Important progress has been made to promote equitable access to education, close achievement gaps, promote diversity and support teachers and staff in Jefferson County Public Schools but there is still much work to be done.

I am a parent of two Tully Elementary School students and I am committed to providing the brightest possible future for all public schools students. As the pastor of Burnett Avenue Baptist Church, I work closely with JCPS administrators and staff and provide summer educational programs, tutoring and college visits.

I will work to help navigate the leadership challenges ahead while focusing on early childhood education, teacher wages, equity and diversity policies and community inclusivity.

Please check out my bio and other links to get to know me better.

Serving as your school board representative would be a great honor. I humbly ask for your vote on November 6, 2018.
